Floyd meets the vet and surgery is set for tomorrow. Our vet is hopeful and believes there will not be any lasting effects because of the tumor. We're all very optimistic but cautiously so… it is still surgery and our poor boy is not in good health.
We saw this cute little guy at the shelter and he was a matted mess but we're use to that. We were already envisioning him all groomed and looking handsome.
We asked to see him out of the kennel and when he stood up to come out of the door we were shocked to see this large tumor hanging from his neck. We were told that several folks had been interested until they saw the tumor.
The shelter staff told us, "We understand you probably don’t want him because of it." Oh how wrong they were! We wanted him because no one else would save him. We knew we have the ability to take care of him and offer him an amazing life…
