Fritter is a 2 year old Yorkie mix who weighs 9.8lbs. She was a rescue from the shelter. She was hiding at the shelter and we saw her in the back corner and we knew that we had to save her. She is shy when being handled. She is happy, excited but then when folks go to pick her up, she gets nervous. It will just take that new home that is patient and doesn't mind giving her time to trust everyone.

Fritter is very much a lap dog once she knows you and knows that you're hers...She will cuddle, snuggle and curl up in her people's lap once she is comfortable. She is not a nuisance barker which makes her an option for living in an apartment and condo setting. She will not require extensive exercise. She was just learning how to walk on the leash when she came into her foster home. Fritter gets along well with other dogs. She is currently fostered with dogs. She was pretty comfortable with most dogs when she first met them. She came into her foster home and made friends very quickly. She went to the small dog park and she trotted along and eventually had fun with the dogs there.

Fritter is an option for a dog savvy cat.

Fritter is only an option for a home that has had a dog in the last 3 years. If there are children they need to be over the age of 8.
