Serenity is a 1-2 year old JRT mix who weighs 9.4lbs. She is a part of the Seven Virtue dogs who were rescued from a hoarder situation. Each is now in a foster home that is doting on them and watching as their once shy, scared personalities begin to blossom!

Serenity has been living in a foster home with other dogs. She takes her lead from them. She follows them and she loves being with them. She's a great option to join another dog. She also loves to play with toys. That may be something new to her but she is having a blast playing with the toys that her foster has given her. In over a week's time she only had 3 accidents. Her foster home leaves the door cracked for her so she can go out and so we know she'd quickly adapt to a doggy door too.

Serenity can sleep up to 10 hours and never move off the bed or need to go out! She is a snuggler especially with the women in the home. She is still a little more scared of the man of the home but when assured by the gals, Serenity figures it out. She also is very food motivated. So any new man in her life could be the main food supplier and guess who she'd fall in love with? Yup!

Serenity is only an option for an experienced home that has had a dog in the last 3 years. If there are kids they need to be over the age of 10. 6

**Not all of our dogs go to each adoption event. We want to make sure if you are interested in a dog that we have the dog at adoptions but that can only happen if you fill out an application ahead of time and are pre-approved. (Generally this must happen prior to the weekend)

**If you are wanting to submit an application within 24 hours of an event, please print off the application and bring with you as well as submitting it. You may still submit it and if time and volunteers permit, we will contact you. Most applications submitted the weekend of adoptions are not responded to until after the adoption weekend.
