3 years old - Medium coat - Male

Good with dogs
Good with cats
Good with kids

Pocus is a 3 year old Morkie (Maltese-Yorkie). He's on the tiny side. He weighs about 6lbs. He has a less than shedding coat but not necessarily hair for those who have serious allergies. Grooming on this guy though will be less because of the texture and that it doesn't endlessly grow. Yay!

Pocus was turned into us with his little female buddy. She has since found her new home and now he's looking for his new Castle. He lives with other dogs. He gets along great with everyone he has met so far. He's a snuggler and a cuddler. Initially he will be on the shyer side but don't let that fool you. This guy is filled with love and endless amounts of lap warming offerings. He will sit on your lap forever if you let him. He'll also follow you around from room to room (without getting underfoot). He's a velcro dude who once she knows his people, absolutely loves them.

Pocus also knows how to use a doggy door.

Pocus is also an option to live with cats as he previously lived with cats. If there are kids in the home they need to be over the age of 8. We will consider those homes who have not recently had a dog but only if they demonstrate on their application a readiness for a dog by already having done the research and preparation to welcome one into their home.

**Not all of our dogs go to each adoption event. We want to make sure if you are interested in a dog that we have the dog at adoptions but that can only happen if you fill out an application ahead of time and are pre-approved. (Generally this must happen prior to the weekend)

**If you are wanting to submit an application within 24 hours of an event, please print off the application and bring with you as well as submitting it. You may still submit it and if time and volunteers permit, we will contact you. Most applications submitted the weekend of adoptions are not responded to until after the adoption weekend.
