Maine Coon x Domestic Long Hair
2 years old - Long coat - Female

Good with dogs

Jewel is an extraordinary cat! She is very intelligent and inquisitive. She is a 2 year old Maine Coon Mix and still full of kitten energy. She loves the interactive cat toys in her foster home. She needs a stimulating environment to help her continue to thrive and dedicated play time every day that we know will help keep her happy. She would get the gold medal for the high jump in the kitty Olympics when playing with the feather wand. One of her favorite pastimes is the kitty tunnel her foster mom got for her. She runs through it, over it and in it constantly, and even naps inside when she is tuckered out. Do you want a cat that will be devoted to you? She follows her foster mom around the house, from room to room, because she wants to be with her at all times. Do you want a cat that talks to you? She makes that sweet chirping sound that is indicative of the Maine Coon Breed. She would do fantastic with a person who is retired or maybe works from home and wants that constant companion. She loves climbing to the top of her cat tree and surveying her kingdom below. She loves lounging in the window cat perch where she can watch the birds eat from their feeder. She is the type of cat that will walk right into her new home and act like she owns the place. She is confident and friendly. She is being fostered with adult cats and two dogs. She really likes the senior dog in the home and will rub up against him and try to engage him in play. We think because of her larger than life personality, she may do best as the only cat of the castle, but should be fine with a cat savvy dog. Besides her amazing personality, she also is quite the beauty! She has a really stunning look. We know Jewel will make someone very happy. She wants nothing more than a forever home that will give her the life she deserves. She has been spayed, is current on vaccines, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and microchipped. Fill out an application today if you think Jewel is your girl! Her adoption donation is $100.

**Not all of our dogs go to each adoption event. We want to make sure if you are interested in a dog that we have the dog at adoptions but that can only happen if you fill out an application ahead of time and are pre-approved. (Generally this must happen prior to the weekend)

**If you are wanting to submit an application within 24 hours of an event, please print off the application and bring with you as well as submitting it. You may still submit it and if time and volunteers permit, we will contact you. Most applications submitted the weekend of adoptions are not responded to until after the adoption weekend.
