Siberian Husky
10 months old - Medium coat - Male

Jax is a 10 month old Husky. He is gentle and sensitive. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He hasn't met a dog yet that he doesn't like. He will immediately approach and if received well, then they're off and running. Jax finds his comfort and his confidence with other dogs. He's a little more tentative with people at first. As long as he's approached softly and slowly when first meeting, he will be fine.

Jax is not a loud dog. He's not proven to be one to bark or howl. He's just a quieter kind of guy. He could easily come into a Husky savvy home and do well and thrive. He will need an experienced home. Husky experience is a bonus but not necessarily the only experience needed.

Jax lives with cats and has done fine so far with the litter of kittens and the adult cat in the home. He hasn't tried to chase any of them. He was a little nervous around them at first. He wasn't sure what to expect. The kittens are wild and crazy. He didn't know what to do with them. The adult leaves him alone and he's fine.

Jax is only an option for a home that has had a dog in the last 3 years. If there are kids in the home they need to be over the age of 12 and dog savvy.

**Not all of our dogs go to each adoption event. We want to make sure if you are interested in a dog that we have the dog at adoptions but that can only happen if you fill out an application ahead of time and are pre-approved. (Generally this must happen prior to the weekend)

**If you are wanting to submit an application within 24 hours of an event, please print off the application and bring with you as well as submitting it. You may still submit it and if time and volunteers permit, we will contact you. Most applications submitted the weekend of adoptions are not responded to until after the adoption weekend.
