Siberian Husky
10 months old - Medium coat - Female

Avery is a 10 month old Siberian Husky. She is very sweet and loving. She lived with four other dogs for 2 weeks and she has been sold on how much fun it is to play with other dogs. She gets along with everyone she has met thus far. She came in and was initially shy but that all seems to be in her rear view mirror. She's so well behaved for such a young dog. It appears she has had some type of obedience training. She know heal and sit. She went to work two days with her fosters and she plopped down and laid by their desk. She is an incredible dog...

She's an absolute lover girl with her humans as well. She's a velcro dog. She liked to follow the fosters around the house and when they sat, she sat. They took her to an outdoor restaurant and she laid right down next to them and never made a peep.

Avery is not a howler as some Huskies can be and she's not necessarily looking to escape or get away. Rather she really is just completely content hanging out with her people. Her foster parents haven't convinced her that the crate is a good thing yet. She prefers to be outside the crate but they're not giving up yet!

Avery will need a new home that has had dog experience within the last 3 years. Husky experience is a bonus but not a must. If there are children in the home they need to be over the age of 9.

**Not all of our dogs go to each adoption event. We want to make sure if you are interested in a dog that we have the dog at adoptions but that can only happen if you fill out an application ahead of time and are pre-approved. (Generally this must happen prior to the weekend)

**If you are wanting to submit an application within 24 hours of an event, please print off the application and bring with you as well as submitting it. You may still submit it and if time and volunteers permit, we will contact you. Most applications submitted the weekend of adoptions are not responded to until after the adoption weekend.
