Cocker Spaniel
4-5 years old - Long coat - Male

Charlie is a 4-5 year old Cocker Spaniel. He is a friendly and outgoing dog who gets along very well with other dogs. He has lived with other dogs and is a great option to join another canine sibling. He could also live by himself. He is currently living with other dogs and gets along with them and all of their personalities. He has done well in housetraining.

Charlie loves to go on walks though he does still pull a bit. He loves to play with toys. He especially loves the squeaky toys. He is highly food motivated which helps wonderfully with training. Charlie knows some basic obedience like sit, down, go to bed, outside and all done. He is non-reactive to nail trimming, grooming, teeth brushing or ear cleaning. He is crate trained. He understands, "Go to the crate."

Charlie is not a nuisance barker. He could be an option for someone living in an apartment or condo setting. He needs a home without cats or pocket pets. He is in the truest sense what Cockers were bred for and that is hunting! He's great with people and dogs of all sizes. If there are children in the home they need to be over the age of 7.

**Not all of our dogs go to each adoption event. We want to make sure if you are interested in a dog that we have the dog at adoptions but that can only happen if you fill out an application ahead of time and are pre-approved. (Generally this must happen prior to the weekend)

**If you are wanting to submit an application within 24 hours of an event, please print off the application and bring with you as well as submitting it. You may still submit it and if time and volunteers permit, we will contact you. Most applications submitted the weekend of adoptions are not responded to until after the adoption weekend.
