Jack Russell Terrier
1 year old - Long coat - Male

Bishop is a 1 year old broken coat JRT. He weighs 12lbs. He has the soft wire coat that is a light shedder. Bishop is so incredibly sweet, gentle and loving. However he is also very insecure initially. He needs that confident owner that doesn't increase his insecurity because they're worried. He is a velcro type of dog. He wants to be in the room with is people. He wants to be sitting next to you or at your feet. He wants to be someone's love.

Bishop gets along well with other dogs. He came into the rescue with another dog and he lives with another dog in his foster home. He goes to the dog park and he has a blast. But he always keeps an eye on his foster mom! He also likes to meet the other folks who are there too. Bishop hangs out with his mom at the office. He stays under the desk in his bed at her feet.

Bishop lives with a dog savvy cat who doesn't run. He was pretty scared of the cat initially. He is an option to go with kids who are over the age of 10 and have lived with dogs. He is only an option for a home that has had a dog in the last 3 years or who grew up with dogs recently and moved out or demonstrates their dog savviness.

**Not all of our dogs go to each adoption event. We want to make sure if you are interested in a dog that we have the dog at adoptions but that can only happen if you fill out an application ahead of time and are pre-approved. (Generally this must happen prior to the weekend)

**If you are wanting to submit an application within 24 hours of an event, please print off the application and bring with you as well as submitting it. You may still submit it and if time and volunteers permit, we will contact you. Most applications submitted the weekend of adoptions are not responded to until after the adoption weekend.
