DOGGIE PROTECTIVE SERVICES

Jenny

Cockapoo x Wheaten Terrier
2 years old - Long coat - Female

Jenny is a 2 year old Cockapoo-Wheaton who weighs about 30lbs. She has a non-shedding coat that is an option for those who have allergies or simply want a dog who doesn't shed. She will require regular grooming. Unfortunately her previous owners did not keep up on her grooming and so she had to be shaved down completely. We will be looking for a new home that understands the grooming needs of a Cockapoo-Wheaton and can demonstrate such on their application.

Jenny is a a lover girl. She is very sweet and gentle but she's also playful. She is active without being over the top. She's definitely a dog who can go to the dog park or doggy day camp or on weekend hikes or to the dog beach. She's an all around kind of dog. Jenny is crate trained though she usually hangs out in the crate with her boyfriend Forrest Gump.

Jenny gets along with big and little dogs. She has lived with them and she is currently fostered with a big and a little dog. She also lives with cats. Though Forrest tends to like to chase, Jenny is less inclined but not an absolute no. She hasn't tried to hurt a cat but if the cats are skittish they might entice her to want to play!

Jenny is only an option for those who have had a dog in the last 3 years. If there are children in the home they need to be over the age of 9.

**Not all of our dogs go to each adoption event. We want to make sure if you are interested in a dog that we have the dog at adoptions but that can only happen if you fill out an application ahead of time and are pre-approved. (Generally this must happen prior to the weekend)

**If you are wanting to submit an application within 24 hours of an event, please print off the application and bring with you as well as submitting it. You may still submit it and if time and volunteers permit, we will contact you. Most applications submitted the weekend of adoptions are not responded to until after the adoption weekend.
