Beagle x Pug
3 years old - Short coat - Female

Arista is a 3 year old Puggle (Pug-Beagle) who weighs 14.6lbs. She was found wandering and when her family was located they indicated they weren't interested in taking her back. The folks who found her already had dogs and couldn't keep her but were trying to do right thing by saving this dog who they found. The origins of her lost eye are a mystery. There were a few stories about kids and an accident but no one seems to know the real truth. Whatever did happened, the eye is gone and it's all healed up.

Arista lived with other dogs. She is friendly with people from the word go. She met us late at night and she was all tail wagging. She took about 2 days to settle in and even then she was pretty happy go lucky. She hasn't proven to be a barker. She was good at the vet's office when they met her. Of course everyone fell in love with her immediately.

Arista is an option for those who have had a dog in the last 3 years. If there are children in the home they need to be at least 8 years old.

**Not all of our dogs go to each adoption event. We want to make sure if you are interested in a dog that we have the dog at adoptions but that can only happen if you fill out an application ahead of time and are pre-approved. (Generally this must happen prior to the weekend)

**If you are wanting to submit an application within 24 hours of an event, please print off the application and bring with you as well as submitting it. You may still submit it and if time and volunteers permit, we will contact you. Most applications submitted the weekend of adoptions are not responded to until after the adoption weekend.
